Serving the greater Charleston area, we are the most convenient and oldest kayak tour and professional guide company. Led by a university-degreed master naturalist and certified American Canoe Association (ACA) instructors, Nature Adventures offers sea kayaks, sit-on-tops or recreational boats. Families, ages 4 and up, are welcome.

Our tours can encompass the waters of historic Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, across the bridge from Charleston, day and night expeditions to the Heritage Preserve, Capers Island, Penny Creek, a blackwater swamp in the ACE ((Ashepoo-Combahee-Edisto) Basin, named “The Greatest Place on Earth” by The Nature Conservancy, plus other waterways in South Carolina’s Lowcountry.
