Nature Adventure Outfitters believes preserving our environment is important. When people can experience nature, they can gain a greater appreciation for the outdoors.

We offer kayaking trips and naturalist-led hiking tours. We rent kayak and canoe on the Intracoastal Waterway as well as on an eight-acre freshwater lake. Stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) rentals are also offered at this same lake. Our experienced guides can provide kayak and SUP instruction, too. Kayak rentals for use at select off-site locations can also be arranged.

Our primitive tent campsites (rentals available), feature views of Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge, making it a great base for kayak trips. Kayak tours also showcase the Santee Coastal Reserve, the Edisto River and the ACE ((Ashepoo-Combahee-Edisto) Basin National Wildlife Refuge, one of the largest wetland ecosystems on the Atlantic Coast.

We are proud to be the largest and most continuously permitted outfitter in the Francis Marion National Forest. It is home to cypress trees, swamps, tidal creeks, rivers and historic plantations. Wildlife sightings can include alligators, dolphin, eagles, deer and a variety of coastal birds, plus wildflowers. For your convenience, our base of operation is within close proximity to other hiking and biking trails.
