Birding Beaufort offers guided tours in Beaufort & The Lowcountry for birding enthusiasts of all levels. Jenn and John Clementoni, a married couple who are both certified Lowcountry Master Naturalists and outdoor enthusiasts, want to share the beauty of birding in Beaufort and The Sea Islands with you.
Jenn is consistently ranked in the Top 5 Ebirders in Beaufort County with more than 200 species sighted, including many rare species sightings. Wading birds, song birds, birds of prey all fall under the categories of frequently spotted including Painted Buntings, Warblers, Bald Eagles, Spoonbills, Egrets, Herons, and Owls.
Each birder will receive a custom email the night before each tour describing what birds are likely to be seen.
Jenn is a patient and knowledgeable guide who made me feel at ease as a beginning birder. John was able to give a description so that we could read the local landscape as we toured the maritime forest at Hunting Island. It was fun to learn about sound and spotting, as well as photography if you are interested. I even saw a Painted Bunting, which was truly remarkable! I highly recommend joining them on a tour.
